Meet the Owner
Michael Wilson, PT, DPT
Owner, Physical Therapist
Michael Wilson is a native of Deville, LA. He attended LSU-Shreveport where he played baseball for 4 years while earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Community Health Pre-PT in 2016. He achieved his doctorate of physical therapy (DPT) from the University of St. Augustine in 2020.
He has worked in various settings as a Physical Therapist (outpatient, home health, and hospital) treating a diverse patient population. He is certified in Dry Needling (2021) and in 2025 completed his certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. Forever the lifelong student, Michael plans on becoming a Certified Stroke Rehab Specialist (CSRS) and will be completing part one of his Vestibular and Concussion Specialist certification in 2026. As you can tell from his wide ranging continuing education classes, it’s hard for him to really pick a favorite injury or rehab that is his favorite:
“When I get asked what I would be doing if it wasn’t PT, it’s really hard for me to come up with an answer. I thoroughly enjoy treating the PERSON as a whole system and not just one part. Whether it be getting an athlete back on the field, helping someone walk better, showing a new mom safe ways to begin strength training, or helping decrease someone’s pain so they can continue to run their business, are all parts of my job I am blessed to be able to do. I started this business to make physical therapy and wellness available to anyone and in an area they feel most comfortable. Just because your lifestyle and schedule don’t fit with the traditional PT and wellness model, that doesn’t mean you are left to figure it all out on your own.”
Michael lives in Carencro, LA with his wife, Allison, two sons, Parks and Ridge, and their dog Drake. When he’s not helping patients or chasing his two boys around, you can most likely find him in the woods hunting, cooking on the patio, or watching a game with his family/friends.
